We are lucky to have a team of skilled and talented people working for us here at Dresner Group. As our services would not be available without them, we thought it was only fair to give our team members the recognition they deserve and help you get to know them a little better. Here, we’re directing your attention to Charles Mitten, one of our Service Desk Engineers.
What is your role at Dresner Group?
My position is a twofold position with both parts equally important.

What do you like most about Dresner Group?

Moreover, it is the relationships we build with each client that engender the level of trust necessary for all of us to be successful.
What do you like most about your job?
Interacting with our clients. Ensuring that they are confident in our ability to guide them through the inundation of technical information available. It helps that out client base if predominantly full of fun and interesting people. =)
What is your favorite part about working for Dresner Group?
The people. We have some of the very brightest minds, and the craziest personalities that create a working environment more akin to family than co-workers. It is something that, having worked in this field for decades, I do not take for granted; it is rare, and only happens naturally. You can pay someone to work, but you cannot put a price on caring.
What are 3 words you would use to describe Dresner Group?
Dependable. Trusted. Proactive.
But all of those can be consolidated into a single word. Exceptional.
Do you have a favorite newspaper, blog, technology resource?
Google. I get around =)
If given a chance, who would you like to be for a day?
Smaug.
People would be surprised if they knew:
I was at one point in my life, a stage magician.
What kinds of hobbies and interests do you have outside of work?
When I’m not rebuilding my house; I enjoy wood/leather working, reading, having bonfires in the back yard, and occasionally dusting off a few instruments and seeing how bad I’ve become by not practicing.
What’s your favorite thing to do in Maryland?
Eat, but that’s my favorite thing to do anywhere.
What’s on your bucket list?
To kick it.
What’s your favorite movie of all time?
Tough choice, but whenever it’s on, I end up watching all of Braveheart. Well, that and Casablanca.
Do you have pets?
Yes, I do. I have a ½ chocolate-lab, all awesome Starbuck. And her brother the puppy-cat, Lidder.
Do you have a hidden talent?
Yes, I have the amazing ability to put my foot in my mouth at any moment. =)
What do you like to do in your spare time?
What is this thing you speak of, spare time? This vexes me, as I know of no such thing existing. LOL
